Planning will outline the project, background, benefits, and project approach. The planning stage will also include a project plan (attached in Appendix A).

Development will source datasets and review these for usability. Datasets will be combined to allow quality assurance, cleaning, and filtering.  Datasets will be analysed and interpretated regarding the success of closing the gender pay gap in Scottish SMEs. Statistical, descriptive, and diagnostic methods of analysis will provide relevant insights and output as visualisations in a dashboard using Power BI.

An evaluation of the success of the findings and the project process will be completed and provide an opportunity to reflect on the project, while identifying areas for future development of analysis.

The project will be output as a website, so the findings are accessible to small business owners. It will function as a blog to reflect on my project.  I will also be adding educational content relevant to the project problem into an Instagram account to promote reducing the gender pay gap as well as my project itself.
